Having learnt alongside lauded chefs Lefteris Lazarou at Varoulko in Athens and Iosif Petrov at Serenissima in Chania, Grigoris Marinakis is Head Chef at Matzenta Kuzina Del Sol. The creative focal point of the Matzenta experience showcases ingredients and textures fusing Crete and Mexico. Our visiting chef excels on an exploratory journey discovering similarities and differences between the land produce of Oaxaca and Crete. Grigoris Marinakis creates authentic flavour blending traditional Mexican gastronomy and celebrates the common elements and bond with Cretan culinary heritage.
