Born and raised in Thiva, Xenakis’ earliest childhood memories involve good, wholesome food and the laidback lifestyle of the Greek countryside. A sense of this provenance and simple ingredients is a quintessential element of his creations in the kitchen. A graduate of Le Monde Culinary School, Xenakis has worked in Greece and abroad with exceptional chefs. As Head chef at the renowned Aleria Restaurant, the establishment was recently awarded its latest Toques d’Or (the highest gastronomy award in Greece).
