DAIOS COVE RESTAURANTS IN CRETE WELCOME CHEF ALEX ATALA
Spanning a career over 30 years, award-winning Brazilian chef, Alex Atala, takes Brazilian flavours to new heights around the globe and for the past thirteen years, his Michelin-starred restaurant in São Paulo, D.O.M., has featured in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants. In 2015, Alex became the first Brazilian chef to have a two-star restaurant in the Michelin Guide. In 2021, he was ranked in the top 10 of the prestigious Best Chef Awards. Our visiting chef has also created the ATÁ Institute, an initiative which brings together a diverse multidisciplinary team of experts to share knowledge on eating, cooking, producing and nature. Besides the awarded restaurants D.O.M. and Dalva e Dito, Atala also runs Bio, whose goal is to utilize 100% of every ingredient in its kitchen whilst encouraging consumption awareness.
