KTIMA GEROVASSILIOU, WINE EVENT IN CRETE

Ktima Gerovassiliou is the brainchild of Vangelis Gerovassiliou. In 1981, he started reviving the family vineyard extending over 2.5 hectares in the Papamola region of Epanomi, approximately 25 km southeast of Thessaloniki. In this unique ecosystem, he planted mainly Greek, but also foreign grape varietals while the next generation of the Gerovassiliou family has paved the way for the revival of indigenous varieties, notably the Malagousia grape. Ktima Gerovassiliou has an extensive collection of awards and distinctions enjoying international recognition with a range of exceptional labels featuring the distinctive characteristics of the specific microclimate of Epanomi.
