At the age of 14 he started bouzouki lessons at a conservatory and from the age of 16 and for several years he mainly played rebetiko music in Heraklion. His first official appearance was with the Hainides band, which brought him closer with a large and diverse audience because of their tours in Greece and abroad. Soon after that he found himself working together with Ross Daly, accompanying him on the lute, starting a long-term collaboration that lasts from 2009 to the present. In 2009, his first personal album was released, which was followed by seven others. Today, he appears with his personal projects that include his own compositions, having the elements of improvisation and the traditional Cretan sounds as a creative background.
