Under the moniker Jinadu, a highly sought-after vocalist, artist, songwriter and DJ, Simon J has featured on well over 200 label releases with some of electronic music’s biggest names, culminating with winning a 2022 Grammy for co-writing and performing on the lead track of Black Coffee’s ‘Subconsciously’ album. Other collaborations of note include features with Patrick Topping, Jamie Jones (released 2023), Cristoph, Deetron, Dixon, Hot Since 82, &Me, Chris Lorenzo and on labels such as Defected, Toolroom, Shogun Audio, Ultra, Anjunadeep, Anjunabeats, Armada. With his 70s West Coast inspired band The Beauty Room, Simon J has performed live on BBC Radio 2 and Radio 1 for Bob Harris and Gilles Peterson respectively, recorded at Abbey Road and released 2 critically acclaimed albums. Simon J is also one half of Hyacinth & Apollo – a new live electronic duo with an upcoming release with Sister Bliss of Faithless.
