Soulfire redefines the concept of a classic organ trio, creating a wild, brilliant fusion of soul, funk and afro beats. Since forming in 2009, the trio has created a funky institution pioneered by the likes of Soulive, Stevie Wonder and Medeski Martin & Wood. The trio band led by Nigerian singer, guitarist and composer Adedeji Adetayo effortlessly blends music elements of Yoruba music while keeping high on the tempo. Playing original music as well as re-arrangements, they always leave room for improvisations and make sure to give grooves that don’t quit.
