DAIOS COVE RESTAURANTS IN CRETE WELCOME CHEF JOSÉ LUIS HINOSTROZA
Joining us from Mexico is award-winning chef, José Luis Hinostroza from ARCA, a restaurant in the middle of the Mexican jungle on the Yucatán Peninsula.
Until recently, José was at Rene Redzepi’s culinary Mecca, Noma in Copenhagen and formed part of the research and development team of Noma Mexico.
His product-driven menu at ARCA brings together the bold and explosive flavors of Mexico, executing a casual fine-dining experience with the technique and knowledge of a chef who has spent the past ten years working in some of the best kitchens in the world.
Hinostroza is one of a new generation of chefs in Mexico using his expertise in contemporary cooking methods to make the most of fresh, seasonal ingredients, a core philosophy of the farm-to-table movement.
