DAIOS COVE RESTAURANTS IN CRETE WELCOME CHEF LUCA PISCAZZI

Our Rome-born, Michelin-starred visiting chef began his career in an Italian establishment in London before going on to work at restaurants with the coveted status in Hong Kong and Beijing. In the UK capital, he served as head chef to legendary chef Anne-Sophie Pic at her restaurant – La Dame de Pic London. Located within the Four Seasons Hotel at Ten Trinity Square, it achieved two Michelin stars during Piscazzi’s tenure.

In his first solo venture as Head chef at Pelagos Restaurant in Athens, the establishment achieved its first Michelin star. Piscazzi brings out the rich flavours, subtle aromas and varied textures of seasonal raw ingredients while ensuring diners immediately recognise what is on their plate. ‘’I am laser-focused on innovatively and sustainably showcasing seasonal local produce from the land and, particularly, the sea that surrounds us’’ he says.

Daios Cove is the launch bay for Piscazzi’s gastronomy concept of Pelagos on Tour, a series of culinary events showcasing inspiration from one particular region of Greece, this year – Crete. Luca orchestrates a Culinary Journey of exquisite fine dining for our guests unveiling dishes inspired by the island and its culinary legacy.
