Heading up the brigade at Daios Cove is Panagiotis Valsamakis bringing vast experience to the table from renowned restaurants and luxury resorts in Athens, London and Dubai. His professional journey has seen him work with award-winning chefs, cultivating priceless knowledge and an innovative mindset along the way.
Fostering a true passion for simple, seasonal ingredients which retain all their autonomous magic in every dish, Panagiotis oversees that each dining experience at the Cove is a memorable one.
OCEAN RESTAURANT CHEF
The chef at our awarded Ocean Restaurant brings his innovative streak to the table when it comes to creating truly original flavours fusing ingredients in a unique way. Konstantinos creates a gastronomic journey which is sure to impress even the most discerning palates.
Zachos Papadakis brings his creativity and love for the bare necessities provided by the sea and land of Greece to the Taverna kitchen and this shines through in every mouthful. Experience in Michelin-starred establishments in London and Athens deliver flair and inventiveness in wholesome fish and meat dishes and Cretan mezedes at the Taverna.
THE BEACH HOUSE CHEF
Heading up the dynamic team in The Beach House kitchen is George Chronakis. A chef whose training and experience has focused on exploring exceptional Greek ingredients and ingeniously combining them with little surprises for our guest’s palate. Options from the grill section are cooked to perfection to complement that laid-back atmosphere of The Beach House.
Cooking up a storm for our guests in the Pangea restaurant is Giannis Tzortzis, showcasing his extensive experience in the country’s top luxury hotels. A member of the Daios family for some time now, Giannis’ thirst to experiment and create new flavours is what keeps guests coming back to the Pangea dinner table.
Our talented pastry chef, Kostas, is the driving force behind the patisserie team at Daios Cove. With valuable experience in top hotels in the country his desserts promise to be the talk of each guest’s holiday with each sweet bite destined to delight.
